I believe a biblical local church has been given a very simple plan for what it should be doing.

Purpose

• This answers the question: Why are we here? (What are we here for? )
• The answer is simple: To glorify God and enjoy him forever.

Mission

• This answers the question: What are we to do in order to fulfill our purpose? (If we want to glorify God and enjoy Him forever, what do we need to do?)
• The answer is simple: Be and make disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Strategic Goals

• This answers the question: How do we propose to accomplish our mission (being and making disciples so we can glorify God and enjoy Him forever)?
• The answer, I believe, is to implement and practice the following seven things (at least):

1. 1. Biblical Discipleship
   2. Intentional Evangelism
   3. Expository Preaching
   4. Systematic Bible Teaching
   5. Biblical, Congregational Singing with Sober Music
   6. Genuine Fellowship
   7. Missions Focus and Investment
